Information For Crafts People

First of all thank you all for showing your interest in Truly Gifted.

We will have a wide variety of displays to match the wide variety of crafts we hope to be selling.

Our aim is to support Irish craft through fairness and honesty as well as offering great value for our consumers. We do this by renting out parts of the showroom. We do not do a mark-up OR take a commission which is rarely seen in Ireland. As a result Truly Gifted sells a wide range of beautiful items, all handmade in Ireland and all at fantastic prices!

Benefit’s of being a member of Truly Gifted:

•  We only sell handmade Irish art and crafts. We do not sell mass produced items or imported items.
• No mark-up or commission
• We operate in a way that is fair to everyone involved.
• You get a featured page on our website when you are selling in our shop
• You will be showcased in our monthly newsletter
• To have your items in a beautiful showroom in a busy town
• You do not need to do the selling so you can concentrate on making more items
• You could receive commissions/special requests from customers
• We provide bags and packaging
• We do all the advertisings, flyers, posters and monthly ad’s in newspapers
• We are open 5 days a week from  Tuesday to Saturday 10-5.30

All this is included in your Monthly fee. We rent the shop and pay the bills so you can sell in a retail outlet with minimal risk. Designer markets and galleries can cost anything from €50 a day to a couple on hundred a day and most mark-up your items. Our prices start from as little as €20 a month and do not go past €100 a month.

We would also encourage you to drop by the shop so the customers can meet the people who make the items. We’re all about creating a personal relationship between crafter and customer.

It’s very important that each item has a price tag big enough to take a bar code sticker 2.5cm X 1.3cm before it comes to the shop and a unique item number.  This makes our life a little easier and also ensures we have accounted for every item you bring. We will also give you a copy of the item list.

We ask for the Monthly fee upfront which will be non refundable regardless of sales.

For Art on the walls or other large bulky items we may choose to take 20% rather then rent a space. This is completely at the desecration of Truly Gifted

If you are interested in selling in our shop please bring a sample of your goods and the following documentation with you: Membership Form and our Item List. We will asses your items for suitability and inform you of our decision within a week.
